Why you should go to Disneyland Paris in 2019?

2019 is a bit of a weird year for Disneyland Paris. As you may already know, Disneyland Paris (well, Walt Disney Studios technically, is undergoing a 2 billion euro expansion. In addition, Disney has recently amended a deal with the French authorities to gain an additional 200+ hectares of land thus the potential to build a third theme park. Naturally, with so much building and planning work in the horizon, certain rides and attractions are going to have to close (RIP Art of Disney Animation, you will be missed), combine this with a certain term beginning with B and rhyming with exit and you can understand why some people might be hanging fire.

So should you go to Disneyland Paris in 2019? Let's look at some reasons why you should.

You should go because of free food:

If you book your trip (that means paying the 15% deposit) by February 11th, you and the rest of your party will be entitled to free food. This free food element is based on the half-board Disney Meal Plan with you being entitled to either the standard, plus or premium level according to your hotel of choice.

Of course, like all Disney offers, there are some pitfalls that you will need to avoid. These include having to budget a meal on your first/last day depending on arrival/departure times and the fact that you may have to upgrade your counter-service breakfast to a buffet one at your hotel, especially if you hate eggs. If you want a full breakdown on how this actually works in practicality, you can read my guide to the free Disney meal plan here.

You should go because there is a festival all the time now

Whether your potty about princesses, a true Star Wars nerd or bonkers about Baloo, there is now a Disneyland Paris to cater to your needs and whims. In fact, there are often times where numerous festivals happen in tandems, such as the Season of the Force and the Princesses and Pirates festival.

Of course, that's not forgetting iconic celebrations such as Christmas, Bonfire night, Halloween and for the first time ever, Pride on June 1st.

Let's just call 2019, the year that Disneyland Paris got its party ON!

Overall, if you fancy a party atmosphere it might be worth booking a trip this year, especially given the frequent offers and free food. Rest assured that I will still be talking about the Disney magic. Oh yeah, that reminds me, I have a new project coming in December and I can't wait to announce it on the official Facebook Page in November.

Until next time make a wish and lick your lips,

Kelly
