How to do Disneyland Paris on a budget

Disneyland Paris is without a doubt, the most magical place in Europe. However, with great magic come a decreasing bank account, or does it? If you plan it correct and follow my little words of wisdom, you can save yourself some all important monies. Let's just say that saving money on your next Disney trip is as easy as 1,2,3.

Follow these hints and tips and the only thing that will be sky high will be the flying elephants. Picture Description: People on a flying elephant ride. Picture Source: Disneyland Paris

1. Get to the top of the Cashback tree.

Let me tell you about Top Cashback. It's a website that allows you to claim money back on your shopping by clicking a simple link. All you need to do is sign up for an account (you can do that here) and then just visit the website before you do your shopping.
So what does Cashback have to do with Disneyland Paris? Well, you can get cashback if you book your trip directly on the Disneyland Paris website or via their preferred partner Magic Breaks and Travel Magical. Current rates are between 3.15% and 4.72% depending on your merchant of choice.

I have also previously discussed Disney stores's exclusive 15% discount and how you can use it to buy nice things for your tiddlywinks. Disney store also offers cashback as well, meaning you save even more money on that all important Mickey/Minnie Mouse.

2. If possible, go outside of term-time.

Just like any other holiday destination, Disneyland Paris has a habit of ramping up the price during the holidays. Therefore, if you have tiddlywinks younger than school age or are fortunate enough to not have tiddlywinks at all, then look at the option of booking your trip outside of term time.

For example you can book a trip stopping at the 3 star Sequoia Lodge for 2 nights and 3 days, departing on the 11th February for just £898 for 4 adults. This includes your hotel, park tickets, all 3 of your meals and a photopass to ensure you make the best memories. This goes up to £986 without the photopass once you hit half term, so you're saving about £20 per person by going during term time.

3. Keep an eye out for all sorts of offers

So I bet you're wondering how you can get all your hotel, park tickets and food for less than £230 per person right? Especially given how you're paying a £150 for just your food. Well, if you book a trip to Disneyland Paris before November 28th 2018 and plan to depart between January 9th and April 1st 2019, Disney are offering 20% of their packages, a free full board plan per person and complementary ferry crossings.

The full board plan features a counter service breakfast followed by two meal plan vouchers based on your hotel. The plan is based on what level your hotel restaurant is, so those of you staying at Davy Crockett, Santa Fe or Cheyenne will get standard. Those stopping at Hotel New York, Newport Bay Club or Sequoia Lodge will have plus and those staying at the Disneyland Hotel will receive premium. If you want a little bit more information about how the meal plans work, you can click here and read my very detailed guide.

So there you have it, 3 very simple ways to help you save on your next Disneyland Paris trip. Do you have any ways to save a little bit of money? If so, why not share them in the comments. Don't forget to like my Facebook page and subscribe to my post either directly or via Bloglovin
